Human Rights Policy

Purpose
DRILLIT Energy and Mining (“DRILLIT”) is committed to upholding and promoting respect for human rights in all our operations, supply chains, and communities where we do business. This policy aligns with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and other internationally recognized standards.

Scope
This policy applies to all DRILLIT employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners globally.

Policy Commitments
1. Respect for Human Rights
DRILLIT respects all internationally recognized human rights as defined in the International Bill of Human Rights. We are committed to identifying, preventing, mitigating, and addressing any adverse impacts on human rights resulting from our operations.
2. Prohibition of Forced and Child Labor
DRILLIT strictly prohibits all forms of forced labor, human trafficking, and the employment of children in violation of local laws and international standards, including ILO Conventions 138 and 182.
3. Safe and Healthy Working Conditions
We ensure a safe, healthy, and secure workplace for all employees and contractors. DRILLIT complies with local occupational health and safety regulations and provides training and resources to minimize risks.
4. Non-Discrimination and Inclusion
We are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment. Discrimination based on race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic is not tolerated.
5. Respect for Indigenous Rights
We respect the rights of indigenous peoples and communities affected by our operations. DRILLIT engages in meaningful consultation with affected groups to ensure their voices are heard and their rights are protected.
6. Community Engagement
DRILLIT values positive relationships with the communities in which we operate. We support community development initiatives, engage in open dialogue, and prioritize sustainable practices that benefit local populations.
7. Fair Labor Practices
We ensure fair wages, reasonable working hours, and compliance with applicable labor laws in all jurisdictions where we operate.
8. Grievance Mechanisms
We provide accessible, confidential, and transparent mechanisms for employees, contractors, and community members to report and resolve human rights concerns without fear of retaliation.

Implementation and Accountability
1. Due Diligence
DRILLIT conducts regular human rights impact assessments across our operations and supply chains to identify and address risks proactively.
2. Training and Awareness
We provide ongoing training to employees and business partners to build awareness and capacity for implementing our human rights commitments.
3. Monitoring and Reporting
DRILLIT monitors compliance with this policy and publishes an annual report detailing our progress and challenges in addressing human rights issues.
4. Partnerships
We collaborate with governments, NGOs, and industry peers to promote human rights in the energy and mining sectors.

Governance
This policy is overseen by DRILLIT’s EHS Committee and Executive Leadership Team.
The policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in laws, business practices, or industry standards.
