EHS Policy

Purpose
DRILLIT Energy and Mining (“DRILLIT”) is committed to protecting the environment, ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and communities, and promoting sustainable practices across all our operations. This Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Policy provides a framework for integrating EHS considerations into our business activities to achieve zero harm and reduce environmental impacts.

Scope
This policy applies to all DRILLIT operations, including our offices, facilities, project sites, and activities conducted by employees, contractors, and business partners globally.

Policy Commitments
1. Environmental Stewardship
Sustainable Practices: Minimize environmental impacts by conserving resources, reducing waste, and promoting recycling and energy efficiency.
Pollution Prevention: Identify and mitigate potential sources of pollution through proactive measures and innovation.
Compliance with Environmental Laws: Adhere to all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and standards in jurisdictions where we operate.
Biodiversity Protection: Commit to preserving biodiversity and natural habitats in areas where we conduct business.
2. Health and Safety
Zero Harm Goal: Strive for zero incidents, injuries, and illnesses by fostering a strong safety culture.
Safe Work Environment: Provide a safe and healthy workplace by identifying and mitigating risks through regular assessments and controls.
Employee Wellness: Promote the physical and mental well-being of employees through wellness programs and resources.
Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain robust emergency response plans to address potential incidents effectively.
3. Compliance and Continuous Improvement
Regulatory Compliance: Meet or exceed all applicable EHS regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.

4. Stakeholder Engagement
Community Engagement: Build trust with local communities by addressing EHS concerns transparently and collaboratively.
Training and Awareness: Equip employees, contractors, and partners with the knowledge and skills necessary to uphold EHS standards.
Supplier and Partner Responsibility: Ensure suppliers and partners align with DRILLIT’s EHS principles through rigorous screening and ongoing engagement.

Implementation and Enforcement
1. EHS Leadership
DRILLIT leadership is responsible for promoting a strong EHS culture and providing resources to achieve EHS goals.
Managers and supervisors are accountable for implementing EHS initiatives within their areas of responsibility.
2. Employee Responsibilities
Employees must follow EHS policies, procedures, and training guidelines to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
Employees are encouraged to report EHS risks, hazards, or violations promptly through established channels.
3. Risk Management
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify, evaluate, and mitigate EHS risks.
Implement controls and corrective actions to address identified risks effectively.
4. Incident Reporting and Investigation
All incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions must be reported immediately.
Thorough investigations will be conducted to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.

Governance and Review
This policy is overseen by DRILLIT’s EHS Committee and Executive Leadership Team.
The policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in laws, business practices, or industry standards.
